Dripping Switches

These switches sit on a decaying tunnel wall on the campus of Concordia University – Ann Arbor, Michigan. In 2010 I walked past this fire hazard day after day, the grungy chaos of the wall coming undone behind the orderly square of the light switch fascia calling to me each time, the age old drip stains begging me to flip the switches to see if sparks would fly. I did. They didn’t. And I remain a little disappointed to this day.
