Kerrick Corral

For our first trip in the Westy we joined friends from Oregon mid-vacation and circled the wagens at Kerrick Corral Horse Camp in the Stanislaus National Forest (Forest Route 4N25) northeast of Sonora, CA. along CA108. The location was conveniently close to Burst Rock trail where we hoped to access some specific crags. I’m happy to say our 78 Campmobile, which we affectionately refer to as “Sandy,” did outstanding! Before the trip was over we spent five days and four nights covering 676 miles and ascending to a height of 6720 feet before coming back down to sea level.
