As a new writer just getting into the publishing industry I’m excited about making friends and connections. Meeting people is awesome, and when those people share similar passions, well, that’s just all the better.
One such friendship that I’ve made has been with the Josh Radke, the co-founder of Grail Quest Books. It’s hard not to make a connection with your publisher, but I count myself blessed to have developed more than just an industry connection with the folks at GQB, I truly consider Josh and his wife, Kasandra, to be friends.
So it goes without saying that I was stoked for Josh when I heard he was going to be on KFUO’s Book Talk to discuss his book, Stitched Crosses: Crusade, with the host, Rodney Zwonitzer (who has a connection to Wyoming – my home state!).
To my surprise, when Josh was talking about who he is and what he’s doing, the work at GQB, he made mention of some of the projects coming up later this year, and yeah, you guessed it, he plugged me as an author. What a guy! But seriously. Here is the on-demand recording of Radke’s interview on Book Talk.
